Reclaimed Wood Furniture.

Portico has collaborated with Swedish Italian Construction of Portland - a LEED certified design build firm, to present a collection of furniture made here in the Pacific Northwest from our own locally recycled woods.

Green furniture seems to be on everyone’s minds these days. Therefore we set out to produce attractive designs that would be made by skilled local craftspeople. The wood originates from salvaged wood, sourced from old torn down barns and other buildings. This way shipping is kept to a minimum, as are the accompanying carbon emissions.
In addition, you as a customer gain a lot more options by being able to request many different sizes and stain colors for your furniture pieces. You can even modify the designs to meet your own specific needs. We think you will prefer this to the conventional model of importing cookie cutter furniture from the Far East.
